nnRobin Kaye, a longtime American Idol music supervisor, and her husband Thomas Deluca were found shot dead in their Encino home on July 15. Police recovered evidence including a firearm at the scene and used surveillance footage to identify suspect Raymond Boodarian. The 22-year-old allegedly entered through an unlocked door before the couple returned home, leading to a fatal confrontation. Boodarian was arrested without incident the following day and is being held without bail. American Idol released a statement mourning Kaye as a ‘cornerstone of the Idol family’ since 2009.
