Eileen Fulton, renowned for playing Lisa Grimaldi on CBS’s ‘As the World Turns’ for 50 years, has died at age 91. She passed on July 14 in Asheville, North Carolina after declining health. Fulton originated the iconic ‘soap opera vixen’ trope, evolving her character from villain to beloved figure. Beyond daytime TV, she performed cabaret shows in New York and Los Angeles. Fulton received a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004 and was inducted into the Soap Opera Hall of Fame.
