nnDua Lipa was granted Kosovo citizenship in a formal ceremony hosted by President Vjosa Osmani, who hailed the singer as one of Kosovo’s most iconic cultural figures. The pop star, born to Kosovan-Albanian parents, described the honor as completing her dual heritage. During the event, Lipa was greeted by a children’s choir performing her hit song ‘Levitating’ and attended by UK Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves. This marks her third citizenship alongside existing British and Albanian status. The ceremony coincided with her headlining performance at Kosovo’s Sunny Hill Festival, which she co-founded to promote the country globally.
